I use Yahoo Freecycle a lot, I give a lot of things away on Freecycle. Yesterday a lady requested a dryer and I have one here that I offered to her. It is old, it isn’t pretty, it’s a simple dryer, it does nothing but fucking dry clothes. I picked it up off of Freecycle just to fix it and pass it on to keep it from going to the landfill. The part that keeps the door closed was missing and I put a screen door tripper I had here on it to keep the door closed. She didn’t want it, whatever, fuck her.Thirty thousand women and children a day die of starvation on this planet and would love to have a dryer that just fucking worked. Your great grandmothers washed the clothes by hand and hung them on lines and didn’t complain. They didn’t insist on pretty clothes line ropes, they were just happy to have clean clothes.
